Thank-You Card
A handwritten card sent to every guest who attended or sent a gift, ideally within 2 months of the wedding.
Thank-you cards are mandatory etiquette. The deadline traditionally cited is 3 months for wedding gifts, but anything past 6 weeks starts to feel late. Address each card to the specific gift (or 'your generous gift' for cash).
Split the load with your partner — usually one writes to their side of the family and friends, the other to theirs. Plan to write 5-10 cards per night for a week instead of trying to power through in one sitting.
