    Reception

    Centerpiece

    The focal floral or decorative arrangement at the center of each reception table.

    Centerpieces should be either below 12 inches tall (so guests can see across the table) or above 24 inches on tall vessels (so the conversation passes underneath). Anything in between blocks sight lines and kills cross-table conversation.

    Most weddings use a mix of low arrangements and tall centerpieces (often 1-in-3 tables tall) for visual variety in the room. Budget $75-300 per arrangement at midrange floristry, $500+ at high-end.
